    La première partie était un peu lente à mon goût, jusqu’à ce que l’on entre enfin dans le vif du sujet et que le contexte égyptien soit totalement présent. La deuxième moitié est beaucoup plus mouvementée et bourrée de révélations. La romance se construit doucement, le système magique aussi, le tout est plutôt bien dosé. L’épilogue m’a retourné le cerveau : je veux la suite !!

    C'est un bon livre. Ce qui me gêne un peu, c'est le manque d'Egypte. Le livre est vendu tel quel, et on a juste quelques informations et la quête principale. Pas vraiment d'actions autour de ce pays. Beaucoup de mystère qui je trouve n'apporte pas grand chose où sont oubliés. Sinon, le livre est addictif et très prenant. Il faut dépasser la première partie, pour que cela devienne intéressant.

    Une bonne surprise, je m'attendais à ne pas aimer et finalement ça a été une très bonne lecture. J'ai apprécié les personnages, principaux ou secondaires. Il y a énormément de retournements de situations, et cette fin ! J'ai vraiment hâte de lire le tome 2.

    Une superbe aventure ! J'ai adoré le contexte historique (colonisation britannique) et les discussions sur le marché noir des antiquités. J'ai voyagé grâce aux descritpions et l'atmosphère et à la mythologie égyptienne abordé (et les discussions sur l'archéologie). Les personnages sont tous très bon ! Coup de cœur pour Inez et Whit!
